They just posted a new video:

Did anyone else pledge on this? They ended as the number 3 highest Kickstarter of all time.
holy hell 3.4mil...
I pledged for two Vampire sets. I'm going to exchange the second Sophie and pay extra by paypal to get the new only-concept-art-so-far options (clockwork dragon, Kaladrax, Nethyrmaul, Cthulhu) and the undead giant.

They'll have the pledge manager up and running in about two weeks from now (perhaps later), and it'll be possible to add more stuff (for KS prices if you pledged Vampire/Undertaker) for at least a week once it launches.
Those miniatures are top notch. I love the detail.

I bought a Vampire and it seems like, with a few exclusions, I can do most add-ons and just send them the difference? Right? That's what they seemed to be saying anyway. I did throw in extra initially for 2 more paint sets. I seriously considered their full Sophie set but I figured that was just me being an idiot. I still might buy one of those cases or something, or add in one of those Cthulus or something, though.

I was frankly shocked too, but they ran their pledge campaign exactly like OGRE's, which was way out of the norm and generated massive pledging near the end (OGRE obviously didn't get as much, but it's a specific board game, minis are useful for a lot of applications in the geek world). So in retrospect, fucking smart of them. The trick is that for every pledge, existing pledges got better (so throughout the campaign, Vampire just kept getting better, thus pushing people off the fence), it's a marvelous tactic for a KS like this.

Yes. I kind of wonder who's going to be saddled with paypal fees, but for me it's 3.4% worst case.

I'll get mine in March outside of kickstarter and pay for them in March, too. The deal on paints wasn't getting better, and it's not like I'll be painting in winter when I can't properly vent the apartment.

I'm still undecided about Sophies. On one hand, a second Vampire set is more useful. On the other hand, most of the Sophies aren't even on ebay - as a standalone deal it's awesome.

All those Sophies were limited edition, I suspect there will be no more chances to buy them or at least only a very rare opportunity. If you like their Sophies (which actually are pretty good) then you probably have to get them now if ever, which is why I even considered it, the extra Vampire set is more useful, as you say.

Well, they said it's possible to choose either level when combining Vampire and Liche, so when the kickstarter survey comes, I'll pretend I have always wanted that, and top it off with another Vampire via paypal.
Also, the Reaper post KS pledge manager will be live for 30-40 days once it goes live.

Yes, if you are a Bones Kickstarter backer you will be able to raise your pledge level to Vampire.

Yes, if you pledge enough for both Liche and Vampire you will be able to select both.

If you only pledged at the Liche Level you can switch to Vampire and spent your extra $10 on options, Or, you can add $100 and get both Liche and Vampire Levels.

Yes, if you did not pledge Vampire and don't upgrade to Vampire, you can still get the options and extras but they will cost you about 20% more rounded up to the nearest dollar over what is listed here.

Yes you can swap Sophie for other options with a credit of $25, but you can't use it for shipping. You can't use the Sophie trade to reduce you Vampire Level's cost.

No, you can not swap out any other portion of the base Vampire Level for other options.

No you can't get singles, substitute groupings or sub-groups other than what is already listed.

We are going to send another update soon with this and more information. One key element will be if you did not pledge at all and want to still get involved, you will have to enter at the Vampire Level and it will be $150 and not $100 as a base price. It's going to retail at $500 so it will still be a great deal. You will also have to pay the extra 20% for the options and extras. Pledging during the campaign has it's privileges. We are sorry if you missed it.

I think I covered everything you've asked.

...if you HAVE pledged Vampire Level or Upgrade to Vampire Level and you are an existing backer, there is no increase in the amount needed to add the options and extras you want. Therefore, yes you can add more to your pledge and get options and extras.
I'm somewhat annoyed I missed this one. I don't know if I would ever get around to painting the miniatures, but having such a nice assortment would be pretty cool for occasional uses. When I read that it would be possible to pledge after it ended, I was happy (don't have a credit card anyway) and decided that the $150 ($100 for Vampire, $25 for shipping, ~$25 import tax) would be ok but pretty much the limit of what I'd spend. Now I read the announcement that latecomers would have to pay $150 and 20% more for extras... meh. No miniatures for me then, I guess.
