Just checking if I can purchase things and download them a month or two later? Its just that I don't have much time to play right now, so I'm getting some games now that I want to download at a later point. Also, can I re-download them? Or I need to download and Backup right away? Just checking if I could use GOG as my repository of games I love. ;-)

Thanks. Wk

You can download them whenever, even multiple times. All games you purchase are available at any time.

You can redownload anytime, unlimited times, but it is still wise to back them up :)
You can download them from your account page so long as this website endures. So no real rush. You might want to casually keep/backup the installers as you go along.
theyre all trolling you, you have a 24 hour countdown after making purchase before Mr. GOG runs away with your money.

What he said, you only have 24 hours after purchase.

Ash, Fuzzy and nagytow are well known trolls.

I don't know if this is some sort of an attempt at a joke, but it is of course completely untrue. You can buy it now and download it whenever you want, unless GOG.com ever goes away. (And of course that's one of the great things about GOG...even if it ever did shut down, you actually own anything you bought and downloaded-no activation means it's always yours to play, unlike Steam, Amazon downloads, and everything else.)

I download stuff I buy from GOG within a week, whenever I have time, and I have everything backed up to a pair of external drives, so I don't need to redownload stuff.
Don't listen to the people saying "HURRY YOU ONLY HAVE 23 HOURS!!!!! O_O"

You can download them whenever you want, as many times as you want.

After purchase you can download your games whenever it suits you best and you can redownload them as many times as you need to, so while keeping backups is always advisable it's definitely not something you have to rush into, your games will always remain available for download on your account.

Bem Vindo ao GOG ;)
