predcon: Twenty five GBP? Is the British Pound really at 2:1 with the US Dollar?
avatar
Damuna: No - it's been around 1.6:1 for a while.
I figured as much. I bought a CD direct from Black Library about a year ago, and that seemed like the ratio for the exchange rate. The overseas shipping charges was a lot cheaper than I thought it would be, and is a lot cheaper than most domestic shipping rates in the US, at least as far as UPS an Federal Express go. The USPS have always had reasonable rates, more or less.

StingingVelvet: I should say I'm disabled and then ask for the DLC.

rooshandark8: Are yah?
I suffer from "I want the DLC dammit" disease.
I still think its stupid that any PC game wouldn't have customizable controls from the start, even if it is a port. Thats what pissed me off about Halo 2 the most.

Every game should have customizable controls, be it on console or personal computer. Even if the game's controls are simply "Left, Right, Jump, Fire/Action", which was often the case of early PC shareware games, like those from Apogee and Epic MegaGames. I mean, not a whole lot of people would remap "Left" and "Right" on a console game, but I often have trouble readjusting myself to certain games' "Jump/Fire/Action" controls, especially if a game I'd been playing previously had been using a control scheme that was the reverse of the current game I would be playing.
Really smart move on their part. Do some minimal changes, admit mistake and get huge good publicity.
