dirt runs fine as it is however the dirt 1.22 patch removes the star force protection apaprantly
the same protection layer that forces me to restart my pc when it wakes up from sleep mode to re verify the dvd


however i cant seem to actually update to 1.22 each time i try i get a crc error
and i tried at least 5 different downloads from 5 different sources including gamershell and the patches scrolls

what the hell is going on here and more importantly how can i install the patch ?

I guess you are talking about a game patch? The reason why no one answered might be, because you posted this in the general forum and there might be many people like me who looked into the thread, had no idea what you were even talking about and went on reading other threads ;-)

thats because its about colin mcrae dirt 1

and dirt 1 isnt part of the gog cataloge so i had no other place to ask it but in the general forum

Yeah, then just saying "dirt" isn't going to cut it, I'm afraid. If you want information from people, you really should make at least a token attempt to properly inform them as to what it is you want information about. Make a proper thread title and explain the problem clearly in your post. Otherwise you probably won't get any useful replies.
