StingingVelvet: On the surface this sounds awesome, but then one has to worry a bit they will make it more mainstream since most previews point out it's almost as hardcore as the original.
Thank you for reminding that, everytime I get a little optismistic about Deus Ex HR I remember that now it's in Square hands. That's gives me shivers when I think of what they did to Final Fantasy in the recent years.

Damuna: Scary, this is the first post that was close to what I was expecting - that is, someone objecting to Human Revolution being described as Deus Ex 3.
Well it's a prequel, having it called "3" does feel strange.
Nowhere does it say it's coming late 2011, it's April or later.

Roman5: you know what the funny thing is about this?

Duke nukem forever will come out before Half life episode 3

bazilisek: Duke Nukem Forever was in development far longer, so I don't really see how this comparison makes sense. A better one would be TF2 which was some nine years in the making, but it did eventually come out. Duke was rescued at the last minute, otherwise it would be buried after what, thirteen years or so?
But it wasn't always ACTIVE development all that time, was it now?

I believe I meant later in 2011, as in later than March. Oh well.

Damuna: I was simply commenting on what I expected to be a highly voiced sentiment - I wasn't singling you out. Personally, I don't have an opinion on the matter, having not played the games in question for any length of time.
Oops.. re-reading my comment, I seemed to come over a little terse.. wasn't my intention..

My comment was what it was, just a request for clarification of your point :)
