I used to buy a lot of stuff on Desura just for the linux support. Then the Humble Store started getting a lot more games on offer (with linux support) and I stopped using Desura so much. Now, GOG also offers linux support so it's unlikely I will be using Desura ever again. Desura *does* offer Steam keys for a lot of the purchased games though, but then again so does the Humble Store.

Desura is terrible. I was reminded of that again today.

There are a lot of crappy games on Desura, it's like they sell anything on that site. But there are some diamonds in the rough!

Desura mostly has some indie craps but there's also some cool stuff. It's usually safe to say there's no super cool Desura exclusive game — Trace Vector was, so I stopped saying that, but then it got Greenlit and came to Steam. Oh man it took me a while to get the joke.

Have you played the "Tree Simulator" yet? It is a game......... or so they say..............
