I'm happy they're coming and Deathspank should do well (would have done better with a same day release of course). That said, I don't think I really want either of these... at least not enough to get them soon.

I find Diablo clones to be okay, not great, and I still haven't played Torchlight or Titan Quest to completion.

Do you think Torchlight is that good? I've been eying it for a while...

It's alright... I'm not sure why people loved it so much other than just being a cheap PC exclusive. If you like Diablo games and a WoW graphical look you should love it.

Torchlight is a Diablo-clone for people who don't really like the genre. I never played Diablo, hated DUngeon Siege 1 and 2, and never got into Titan Quest.

But Torchlight keeps me occupied for quite a while (every time I go to play it). It has a much more streamlined approach to classes (really hard to make a bad character), there is plentiful loot so you get to upgrade your gear rather frequently, there is almost no backtracking, and it is shiny.

Aliasalpha: I personally found deathspank really quite forgettable, its usually a bad sign if I can't be bothered to finish a demo
Huh, I thought DeathSpank was hilarious. Kinda like a Dave the Barbarian does Diablo type thing. I mean, it's no Uncharted or Resistance, or anything, but it is also 1/4 the price.

I bought the sequel too, but I haven't gotten around to playing more than the first 45 minutes or so, No idea if it is as good as the original.
I still don't know whether to get it from Steam. I wanna get Shank too. So the combo pack is an obvious choice. But I would facepalm if they get released on Gamersgate a while later.
Deathspank is now out on Steam.
So, who's going to gift me Deathspank? Kidding. Game looks nice.
Wish they had demos...
Deathspank is fucking awesome.
Bah, stupid Steam. I started downloading Deathspank, surfed the internet for 1 hour or so got the dl progress to 70%, went to play Fallout: NV. Problem is when you play Steam games, Steam downloading stops. So I'm still stuck at 70% zz.

Yeah, I hate that. If you remember (I know I almost always forget), you can alt-tab out of your game and resume the download manually.
Does Deathspank become as repetitive as Fate/Torchlight after a while? Cause if so, count me out.

Excellent question. Would like to know also, though I'll be getting it either way for the humor.

PS. PC version is a proper PC version.
