Bring back? Just because they haven't done one in a while doesn't mean they went away for good, it just means they either haven't had a title worthy of it or none of the publishers have agreed to it.

That was the only one I remember them doing. So unless there was one back in the closed beta it seems like a one off to me.

The reason they did it in the first place was because everyone thought the price Ubisoft wanted for that particular game was insane. It was a compromise of sorts.

(though certainly it's not a bad idea to do once in a while; I also remember a racing promo that started the same day Screamer was released and included that game)
