StingingVelvet: Fallout 3 definitely had random bodies in the cities to fill them up, most of them just named "citizen" or something like that. Trust me.
avatar
Tallin: Sorry, but I can't remember any such characters, and various google searches reveals nothing for such NPCs except things like guards, raiders, etc. The only thing I could find was various mods and mod packages that added randomly generated NPCs to fill out the otherwise rather sparse towns...
I never use mods, have a very good memory and played Fallout 3 for like 200 hours. You're going to have to trust me.

Great, now you're about as easy to believe as someone who claims to've seen a yeti ;)
maybe the developers made this ONE copy of fallout 3 with citizens in it, and he just happend to be the guy who bought that one...

or he's right! I still think he could be right, i havn't played much of fallout 3, as it was a horrible game.

I don't care enough to install the game, take pics, upload pics, etc. to convince anyone. If you guys want to think otherwise you can be wrong all day long and my life will go on :)

Seriously though... Megaton is easy enough to check if you have the game installed, or play on console. They wander around the main town area, near the bomb a lot, and sleep in the large shelter with a ton of bunk-beds in it.

Fictionvision: Thank you for bumping this thread. I didn't realize the game had been released free legally. I was going to start playing Morrowind here soon, now I'm wondering if I should start with Daggerfall first.

StingingVelvet: Ehhhhhhhh... Honestly you probably have to be a product of that time to really get it. Game is damn clunky.
I played Daggerfall a while ago and honestly I didn't find it all that clunky, I have no nostalgia with it and the Elder Scrolls game I was seriously used to was Oblivion.

I found combat controls to be quite excruciating.

It probably depends on the mode too, I set it up to utilize the mouse look option where you have to hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse in any direct to attack. It could just be me, but I got used to it pretty quick.

I found navigating the dungeons to be the worst aspect. "Mating octupi" indeed. Though it doesn't help when you think that's just one orc, but it's actually a stack of 40 orcs all standing on top of each other. Or when you get overburdened by your cash because you just sold an expensive weapon. Or when the guards appear out of nowhere to arrest you because you accidentally pickpocketed a rat instead of attacking it. Still, at least you got a boat to cruise around in.
When I figure out how to look up and down... I will let you know. Rat chewed my nutsack off again. -_-
