orcishgamer: Weird that they did that with the expansion but Crysis itself doesn't have it... Oh well, I still have Crysis sitting in the box I bought it in on release week... because I suck...
Not really. They were pissed about the piracy for Crysis so they put it on the expansion.

Now is actually the perfect time to get into it, really. You can actually get playable framerates at high settings without having had to spend $2000 for it.

I wonder how that turned out for them... I know I bought Crysis on release week and didn't get Warhead at all because of it.

Crysis 2 is multiplatform...I think that says it all.

Yup. A lot of devs/publishers fall prey to that silly mentality. I realize piracy is a problem, but bring some reason to the table. I guess it's a bigger deal for a developer like them though since they spend more than anyone. But to say pirates are "destroying the platform" (pretty much verbatim) is overdoing it. That and they kind of did it to themselves, releasing a game only 10% of people could run optimally. Cevat Yerli (CEO) is quite insane, though, so it's probably best just to pretend he doesn't exist and didn't say anything. :P
