Aliasalpha: Scary thing is that there is a threat to PC gaming, piracy is a bad thing but the countermeasures to piracy are in danger of becoming vastly disproportionate, its like a bank thats been robbed installing a rickety rope bridge over a lake of acid leading to a cavity search station before you can even use the ATM

GameRager: I remember that in one film(Robocop?) an ad shows a crook breaking into a car then when he tried to start it the car electrocutes him and it's billed as a theft deterrant.
What, you're suggesting he'll steal another car? -.o
There was also the car alarm in For Your Eyes Only, a thug tries to break the windows of Bond's Lotus and the entire car explodes. Personally I'd imagine that'd increase rather than decrease the insurance premiums...

The pirates know a finished copy will be along soon enough on their torrent avenue of choice.

I'll probably get it when it's $9.99, Crysis didn't really wow me and the 'demo' of 2 hasn't either.
