A great game can be just as rewarding as a great movie, and our Ubisoft is certainly packed full of great games, so we're asking you to make a movie poster that's a combination of your favorite movie and one of these great Ubisoft games. Confused? We've made up a few example titles for you to make movie posters of and one poster as an example:

Snakes on a Sub

Field of Panzers
The Little Prince of Persia
Heroes of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers
Searching for Chessmaster 9000

...hopefully, you get the idea. Create your own poster however you'd like: splice together publicity stills of your dream cast for a movie based on one of our Ubisoft games, modify an already-existing movie poster, or create your own from scratch. The sky's the limit.

We're selecting our 5 favorite best posters here in the office, and the poster's creator will receive a free GOG.com game of their choice! We'll be judging the posters based on originality, humor, quality, and awesomeness.

A few rules, to keep things fair:
You can make up your own movie title. Indeed, we encourage you to!
Your entry has to be an original work.
Enter as many times as you'd like, as long as each entry is unique.
Each user will only win one game.
By sending us your entry submission, you're giving GOG the right to post your entry in the forums if it's one of the winners.
The contest opens right now and will run until Wednesday, November 24 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. We'll announce the winners Friday the 26th. Submit all entries to users@gog.com.

We're looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with -- have fun!

I just checked the entries - these are all awesome!!! You're just incredible :) Send them in! :D
Wow! All of us at GOG are really impressed with the quality and variety of these posters from you guys. You still have some more time to come up with great entries, so if you haven't submitted your poster yet, take some time today and send it in!

@LeftHandedMatt: Have you managed to send the file along yet? If your image is ridiculously huge (like, over 5 megs) our server may be bouncing it because of the attachment. If you're still having problems, let me know.

bazilisek: Now what have we here? A marketer guy registered Nov 2010? Could we get a brief introduction or something?
Why certainly! A brief introduction is "Hello, I'm Trevor!" ;)

...a longer introduction, which is probably more to your liking:

Howdy!, I'm Trevor Longino, the new Head of Marketing & PR here at GOG. Hm. What else should I say? I'm an American who's transplanted to Warsaw to work with the GOG guys, and if you watched the CD Projekt conference last week, I was the guy who did the presentation for GOG.

I've been playing computer games since, oh, about 1988 or so (on the venerable Commodore 64), and bought roughly half of the games in the GOG catalog back when they were new. Since I've been a life-long fan of computer games, working for GOG is pretty freakin' awesome.

While I, of course, can't go into details, I've seen a lot of what we're working on for 2011, and I can tell you that it's going to be our best year yet. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to get to know you guys in the community better, but I'm already very impressed with the quality and tenor of the GOG community.

ceemdee: Here are two more.
Some cool stuff you have there, why not submitting them to users@gog.com? :)

raytay286: This is my first entry, I call it
Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Chessmaster
Did you already submitted this entry? I haven't seen it.

avatar
dandi8: Being the paranoid person that I am, I need to make sure: Should I get some kind of confirmation on whether or not my entry came through? I got nothing like that... Did you get my entry (only one so far)?

Would really appreciate a confirmation :)
Yep, we received your entry.

Anapingofness: Here is my submission. >_> I may submit twice more... we'll see... XD lulz

Vongvild: Hi, i can't send the images, they get rejected due to spam. I tried sending from different accounts or sending leaving some minutes between each one but it doesn't work. I don't really care about winning , but i like movies and videogames and i appreciate this contest and the great work of the community. This is my contribution. Hope you like it.
We did received the "Down periscope" one, but not the rest.
