First things first. Crazy & Freaky Gaming is a new "thread series"of mine. It's weekly. (Excluding next week, I'll be on vacation)

Now let's get this freak show up.

I found this game on YouTube, LSD Dream emulator. Apparently, the creator kept a dream journal and the dreams in the journal is what the game is based on. The game is kind of wacky. This video explains why.-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxIyMhOu_ZE

Hey, remember Pokemon in the 90s? And remember Lavender Town? The music was kinda freaky but I just found out something even freakier about this.-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK2iLnTR9V8- and-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGJZHewVStg&feature=related

Now that was an interesting game. Do you know how one gets his hands on it?

it is difficult. It is a PlayStation game from late 90's, only released in Japan in limited number. If you want to look for it the best bet is used games market - eBay and Amazon maybe.

"Where can I get this?
The game is very rare, and had a limited run, even in its native Japan. LSD became out-of-print in 1999, and today, only physically exists in Japanese hobby shops, mom+pop electronics stores, and Asian-only Auction sites. Outside of Japan, the game is rare to procure. Personally, I've only seen one physical copy, which belonged to an older brother of a friend I had (who moved back to South Korea many years ago).

There are two versions of the game. The simple, standalone CD, and a Limited Edition copy, which includes the Soundtrack, and another CD containing remixes of the songs. The Limited Edition copy is extremely rare. If you get a copy of either version, I recommend selling it. There's been an instance of Japanese collectors selling the game for (the equivalent to) $500 American dollars."

Importing it from Japan or by creating a Japanese PSN account.
Or perhaps some eBay-like site.
We are talking about legal ways of obtaining it right?

Ah bummer, I was hoping that the game would have been a freely released hobby project. I guess I'll have to make do with videos then.

Yep. Finding an illegal copy should not be "too" hard, but I prefer to avoid doing such things.
