wy4786: Really?
I've never heard it called anything but photostat or photocopier/photocopying machine.
The older gen seem to use the term photostat more often though.
It might be limited to my former company, but I remember I was the only one who use the term "photocopier". Everyone else I heard used "photostat", which by the way before then I did not know the meaning of :-)
Lol, Xerox... I can understand someone using a brand name as a generic term, like BandAid or Kleenex, but not knowing the actual term? Kinda sad, if you ask me. Also funny.

Virama: EDIT: Also, isn't the guy supposed to be under OATH? This is blatant lying. I'm serious.
Hey, cops over here feel free to perjure the shit out of themselves on a daily basis. I'll do it too, if it's in my best interests, thank you very much.
I think all of this could have been avoided if the lawyer asked him about a "COPY MACHINE".

Then we might get sidetracked on the definition of what types of copy machines there are. Does it copy paper? Fiberglass? A Burger King Whopper?
This reminds me of the time when Bill Clinton asked for the definition of the word "is" or something of that nature....
