Because I've seen people call steelpans kettle drums before and I've often wondered where this comes from...

GameRager: Steelpan.....and actually a steelpan is closely related to the kettle drum hence the reason people call it one sometimes.
It's barely related at all. Steelpans aren't even drums. :P
