KneeTheCap: And now that reminds me, which would be better:

We speak finnish and subtitle them in english?
We speak english?

Smannesman: You'll have a smaller viewerbase if you go Finnish, but you should only go English if you're absolutely sure you can pull it off.
I close 99% of all Youtube video's because of the horrible voice overs, I'd much rather view something with subtitles if the creator can't pull off decent English.
And that doesn't mean without an accent, because accents can be charming.
all my favorite LPers have an accent and it can add flavor. I find most bad voice overs to be a lack of presence and enthusiasm, the guy just sounds bored out of his mind. Subtitles are bad since the eyes will be focused on the screen or doing something else entirely. I'm doing something else when you're messing with the inventory after the first few times but I'm still listening.
Well, maybe I will give you a small advice for let's play in general:

Do not joke during cutscenes, hell, do not even talk during cutscenes. A lot of people want to know the story of the game they can't have, so it's essential :P

You can always discuss the cutscene with your friend after it ends ;)
I disagree with keeveek's cutscene advice, and think you should try to reach iDD's improvised dubbing quality ;)
...though that might be hard. iDD's dubs are legendary.

I always prefer the light hearted jokey let's plays.
I don't know, I hate when people make fun of emotional scenes from video games. A lot of people hate that too.

Some character I feel attached to dies, and some douchebag is making corny jokes about it... I would never watch anything from him again :P

You'd probably never want to watch anything I would potentially make, then. Whenever I watch an LP in which the player takes the game seriously and tries to generate emotion, I find it to be less fun to watch. Life has enough emotions as it is; why be sad about a simple video game?
I don't know how about you, guys, but I don't watch let's plays to listen to not funny jokes about anything, but to know the game and it's history.

For example, I've watched MGS 3 and 4 let's plays because I don't have a console, and wanted to know the story. And simple walkthoughs are too boring.

I really think it's a ase by case basis. some games the story isn't important and it's ok. I really wouldn't mind if someone talked over the story to Borderlands but I would be Annoyed if they talked over Deus Ex. Also I wouldn't mind them talking over the cutscenes to bad games since I watch those for entertainment and not having to experience the badness myself.

Edit. The last / does not seem to register into the link. Any ideas how to fix it? And how can I change the link into written text?

I think I want a preview button...

(url=link-here-with-slash/)link text(/url)
Replace ( ) with [ ].
You may have to edit it a few times before you get it right. GOG forum software is finicky that way.

Knowing my wife, she might have a problem with that :)
