On day two of our contest blitz, we double your puzzling and double your fun with a GOG Double Puzzle. Win a free $5.99 or $9.99 game from our catalog today by completing this test of your l33t word jumbling skills and let's see if you know jack about GOG.com. We will be running four more contests over this weekend and the next one starts right now!

The double puzzling part of this is that once you've unjumbled the words, you still have to put together a sentence at the bottom of the page. When you have that sentence, send us an email to contest@gog.com with the subject line "GOG.com 2011 Double Puzzle" and the in the text of the email, add the sentence from the bottom of the puzzle, and we'll randomly select 10 winners to receive a free $5.99 or $9.99 game of their choice. The window of eligibility goes from now until 6.59AM EST tomorrow (12.11.11). We'll announce all of our contest winners on Wednesday, so keep tuned.

Best of luck to you all, and check back in tomorrow for our next contest.

Edited for clarity; apologies for the confusion!
In crossword, name of the other janitor is Quoth but there are four boxes for the name, ending at T crossing into the T of Easthaven.

In double puzzle, the last word in the last sentence is supposed to be Omnipedia, not Omnopedia but the second o is number 33, which is the o of Fallout.

However, if anyone is willing to argue whether either is a valid word, I'd like to point to a simple Google search for omnopedia which returns 53 results and omnipedia which returns 213000 results. Besides, just type Space Quest Om or King's Quest Om into Google and tell me what the autosearch gives you.

denizsi:
You might be mistaken. Exactly which letter is it, which number represents it?

The first name of the other janitor (from MDK) is Kurt if I'm not mistaken.

With the double puzzle, you mixed some things up... the 1st and 3rd letters of the last word can't be different, since they are both represented by the number 31. Plus the word that contains #31 is made from the letters KIGN - no O in it.

As Vortex said, the janitor is Kurt from MDK.
Double puzzle can't be Omnopedia nor Omnipedia as no. 32, second letter of this word, can't be "M" as ther is no "M" in 12th word.
Notice number sequence in last word is 31,32,31,33... I think that's where your problem is.

Both of your solutions are unfortunately wrong. As far as I can see, there is no mistake in the correct solutions (or elsewhere in the riddle).

Sometimes, if one's alleged solution doesn't work out, it's not the riddle that's at fault. ;)

tburger: (...) 'official' gog contests (...) are much more popular even if there is no special reward (...)
I think that there are two possible explanations.
First off, the 'news link' on the front page likely attracts a lot more attention and then there's always the chance that people see the GOG events as something rare and special, whereas the user driven contest is way more frequent and thus subjectively less attractive.
The second would also become the case if this was a weekly GOG event and I fear you might see the amount of participants drop by a considerable amount after a few weeks.

I agree it’s possible we now observe ‘power of novelty’ (eventually everything is getting less attractive when it’s frequent) but I still think that well thought-out, diverse and challenging contests mixed with some ‘unusual’ rewards (like gog merchandise) – could be an interesting alternative for rather boring gog Mondays.

EDIT:
Speaking of contests - if you like this kind of entertainment I can recommend: adventure-treff.de. Starting from 01.XII they ahould run a series of contests called ‘Adventure-Treff-Adventskalender’. I participated only in 2007 edition (then kids came – so no time left) but it was real fun.

Don't get me wrong, I'd kiss TET's shiny..., hmm, on second thought... I'd rather post that I enjoy it ;)
I simply meant to point out that the chance is rather low and that we (the community) could provide an alternative :p
Can someone tell me the right sentence at the bottom? Now the contest is over i would like to know the correct answer.
@helpful members: I've already sent the answer to wormholewizards in PM.

RafaelLopez: Why's it a day off today? Not here. And he'd better show up alright, we're making him fricking rich!! ;)

Lexor: GOG is located in Poland (so am I) and today is (was) 11/11
So it was Poland's Independence Day. Still no day off here.

Yes, but you asked about TET's day off - he is from GOG, GOG is in Poland, so he had day off.

Yes. And you don't know sarcasm. :)
