Guess what, it's time for the fourth contest in the GOG.com Contest Week. After taking your gaming knowledge on a test in yesterday's crossword, we're offering you something simpler - caption contest. We have two screenshots for you, from Earthworm Jim and Phantasmagoria 2. Your task is to think of some funny texts to put into baloons and send the screenshots to users@gog.com by Tuesday, October 12 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Entries will be judged on the basis of wit, humor, creativity and originality and we mean it :).

From all entries we will pick 3 winners:
the winner will receive UbiSoft catalogue
1st runner up will receive the games from [url=http://www.gog.com/en/catalogue#all_genres/publisher/Anuman Interactive/]Annuman Interactive catalogue[/url]
2nd runner up, thanks to our friends at PC Gamer, will receive a PC Gamer UK subscription.

This contest is probably the one I have the "most" chance to win anything in. Which is more a reflection on how pitiful my puzzle & trivia solving abilities are (Weeks 1 & 3), to say nothing of my inexistent photoshopping-an-ad skills (Week 5). I have a hard enough time navigating around MS Paint.

Obviously, for the Phantasmagoria pic I wasn't the only one who went the "hairdresser" route. I've never played Earthworm Jim so I didn't have a real context for that pic...

Also, here was my entry for Week 2's GOG Unique Mix contest. The games selected seemed so arbitrarily random and unrelated to each other I didn't have a clue on how to "spin" it logically, so:

"Milk Crate Games"

Description: "A random hodgepodge of games spanning the length and tastes of your PC gaming years from puberty onward, now stuffed ignominiously in a sad green milk crate in the corner, crying out to be picked up, dusted off, and played again. Waxworks knows you gave up on it halfway through! Forshame!"

I don't think that will win anything either, but no harm in putting one's name in the hat. :-)

still, you dont beat the monty python cow :P. its really hard for anything else to do it. if that guy doesnt win at least the PC Gamer subscription then id be VERY surprised.
