...I think it was mentioned once or twice in the posts that it could be something as simple as an avatar? That was correct. I love seeing what people choose as their avatars on here, and there were 4 of them that I decided were cool-looking enough to pick as a winner. I'll admit, its a little difficult to see what LittleLizard's avatar definitely is, but that was part of how I picked him as the winner. Depending on how I look at it, I see fog, lightning, tree branches at night, an eyeball, or a waterside cliff. I just love the imagery!

Yeah, I feel a little bad that you guessed the criteria but didn't win. Who is your avatar, btw? It was one of my higher ranking, reminds me of a Charisma-based Warlock I've had in mind for D&D 4E.

Korell is right, it is Edwin (but from BG1 actually,) its also the portrait I always use for my pure mage PC in Baldur's Gate.

Ah yes, so it is. The style of the image caught me out as your avatar image seems lighter than I remember it being in the game. And having just seen the BG2 Edwin portrait, with his pierced eyebrow and nose with chain, and braided beard, I say that the BG1 portrait is better than his BG2 one.
