I just can't help myself. Its on sale again, so I feel I MUST give the gift of Arcanum! Before I go any further, let me lay down the rules...

You must never have owned or played Arcanum before. This means if you own it as an original boxed copy but never played it...you still own it, so you can play it on your own, you don't need this giveaway to play it. Or if you've borrowed a friend's copy...you've already played it, so I'm afraid your out of luck on this giveaway. My wish is to give it to someone who does not own it AND has never played it.

...that said, all you have to do is post here that you want it & that you do not own it AND have never played it. This will be a random draw from those who enter. Multiple entries do not count, so I'll be making a list of those who entered (not accusing anyone prematurely of planning to "cheat" with multiple entries, but I do know sometimes a conversation starts in these threads).

Now, my reason for wanting to specifically give away Arcanum. I've played it & I thought it was absolutely awesome. Yes, there are some very minor bugs here & there, but there is an unofficial patch available. As for why I loved the game, Arcanum is extraordinarily flexible. You can be pure goodness or pure evil or anywhere in between. You can customize your character as you raise levels to learn whatever you want...you could be an ogre warrior who can barely put 2 words together, yet has a knack for picking locks! Seriously, you can put together ANY type of character you want! I had an idea in my head for a charismatic human warlock who could talk others into doing his fighting for him while he hangs in the back, summoning even more creatures to do battle for him, occasionally healing his followers as needed and doing some occasional damage on his own...and I created exactly that! The versatility of building your character as you level-up is incredible!

So hopefully, you now understand why I feel I absolutely MUST share this gem with someone who has never had the chance to enjoy it before.
