A general question to GOG staffers: shouldn't the big wishlist ("Games you'd love to see on GOG") be consolidated? At least once, preferably every so often?

I mean, if I type "Homeworld" into the search box, it throws out six entries, four of which are actual games (Homeworld, Homeworld: Cataclysm, Homeworld 2, Gateway 2: Homeworld), and the last two are duplicates - one is Cataclysm spelled without the colon, and the other is a request for "Homeworld 1 & 2". The misspelling should obviously be deleted and the votes added to the request with the proper name above, and the "1 & 2" request votes should arguably be added to both of the game requests above.

And so on for all the games on there. There are A LOT of duplicates and misspellings etc. on that list. Fixing these would give you and all of us a better overview of requested games.

What do you think?
It helps if you think of the Wishlist as the Bermuda Triangle of wishes. Don't try and understand or make sense of it but know that if you throw a game title into it's dark, choppy waters the chances are it will never be clicked on by another person again and lost to the void.
Lost i tells ya!

Oh and cast a vote for Startopia while your there. Ta ta.

You're kidding, but sometimes I get the impression that's not too far from the truth. It's a shame really, I don't think it has to be that way.

No, that was actually the only possible explanation.
The wishlist is also something like a gate to a parallel universe (just like the Bermuda Triangle, as we all know). You will find there bits and chunks of everything, most likely related to computer gaming, but it can be anything, really...you never know. Be careful though: (I'm sure) there were people who searched the wishlist....and never came back.
