Time for yet another Review contest update. This week's edition was all about warfare and goosebumps, wich Stronghold and Waxworks being under the scope. The two reviewers, whose efforts will be rewarded with a promo code each in a couple of moments, are doctorfrog and Nosferatu. We're happy to see Stronghold got quite a bit of love from you, but there's always room for more! :) Be sure to write a lot of reviews for [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/in_cold_blood]In Cold Blood, Painkiller Black Edition and Panzer Elite: Special Edition before next Saturday. For details check out the comments section.

Here are the rules of the contest:
1) You're free to write a review for all games participating in the Review Contest event.
2) Only the review(s) of this week's new releases will be able to participate in the contest.
3) The review(s) must be decent or better. ;)
4) The review(s) must not be a copy of a review from a different website.
5) One winning review per game will be drawn from all applicable reviews written before Saturday 6:00 a.m. EDT.
And why wasn't last week's review contest in the general discussion, I might ask? Not angry, just curious. Seems strange, that's all.

It's in general this week as I asked the Firek to associate the review contest/news in general discussions :)
I bought the game Painkiller and I expect to write a review for it. What are the prizes? ;)

I just bought it too. Might write a review if I end up playing it this upcoming week. heard many good things about the game but not sure if its going to end up being something I will enjoy.
In Cold Blood was actually a game I was keeping my eyes on ever since I saw it on Revolution Software's homepage as I never did see it available in stores.
Panzer Elite: Special Edition I got in EB Games for cheap (I think around 20$ CDN) but never got around to playing it. I ended up playing a modern tank sim (Steel Beasts) more even though it looks worse and was hard as hell to play (Must...go...through...tutorial....for...each...tank...). I hope GOG brings in more genres of games as right now action and strategy seem to have the biggest selection. Any chance for more simulation type games?
Xontests eh? I like xontests. ;)

Cool, I won :)
Haven't received my promo code yet, though.
Aaaaand done!
Nosferatu... that's the name of a Dracula film rip-off from the 20s, right?
