These two action-packed games will be available at GOG.com's games catalogue next Tuesday, so don't spend all your money this weekend.
I.G.I. 2: Covert Strike lets you control one of the most skilled officers in IGI. You'll be on your own in hostile territory, searching for those who betrayed you and trying to rescue the world. But if you prefer to operate in a team, try Soldiers: Heroes of World War II and play out battles set in World War II as one of four forces.
Yey, nice going GOG! I'm really looking forward to buying Soldiers: Heroes of World War II since it was such a nice game.
Wow. I.G.I 2? My friend would be happy to know about that one. He's been looking around for this game for a while now.
Thanks again GoG!
Nice work guys!
Just a quick note about your entry for IGI2 in the game catalog: You've got the release date as "September 27, 2007" when surely this game must be much older than that!
Looking forward to trying out Soldiers!

Indeed, the actual release date is March 3, 2003. Got that fixed, thanks for pointing it out for us. =)
Like the look of IGI, just need alternative payment methods so I can actually buy something.
Soldiers is a good game, but pretty hard.
What about Project I.G.I.?
Birger :)

necromancer!
IGI2 is not for me but Soldier may go to the end of the list of games I plan to buy eventually.
While these are nothing I want/need right now increasing catalog means more sales and more people become interested in gog. More people mean more sales. More sales mean higher change of getting games I want here eventually so all is goog even if I don't get what I want now :)

Hey even necks need romance occasionally. It's a valid question though, it's a bit odd to have 2 but not 1, same with broken sword (though there's a reasonable theory behind that one)

Any problem with a game not appearing on GOG could be traced to some basic issues. Licensing, money, and even more $$$$$. Perhaps one or two may have technical glitches that prevent them from appearing on here, but that, for the most part, is a statistical fluke.
yeah I've assumed money is the core of the problem, there'd be someone somewhere intent on ruining our fun damnit!
The only tech issue I ever had with IGI1 was the crosshair not appearing. I think it used the mouse hardware acceleration and if I only had GPU chipset drivers installed, the 'mouse' didn't appear. If I had manufacturer drivers installed and then updated the GPU chipset drivers then it was fine.
This was on a Leadtek card though, chances are they screwed around with things, every card I ever owned from them had some unique quirk
