You want to know how we'll satisfy your need for great PC games? See what new releases we've prepared for the forthcoming Tuesday.
Earthworm Jim 1 + 2 is a compilation of two great platform games created by David Perry and Doug TenNapel. Meet Jim, a crazy earthworm in a robotic suit who wants to rescue his beloved Princess What's-Her-Name. In our second release, Second Sight, you'll take control over MIT parapsychology researcher gifted with Psionic powers. If that's not enough for you we've added Battle Chess: Special Edition to the coming soon section.
Hah, Battle Chess. Fun times were had. How is it "four chess classics", though? I'm only counting three, or I'm just missing something.
Any plans to get a bundle of Archon Ultra, Dark Legions, Cyber Empires and similar board/action game hybrids up as well? All those were SSI games, I think.
Marvelous! Haven't played Battle Chess for ages ;]. And Earthworm Jim, what can I say other than I love you gog :D

The original "Battle Chess Pack" also came with Battle Chess Enchanced, which was a remake of the original game. It had the usual better graphics, more intricate death sequences, and a 20 or 30 minute full-speech tutorial. The tutorial was fun to watch as the different pieces would come out, explain what they were for and their history, and show some example moves, all with their own humor.
As to why Enhanced is not in this pack, I'm not sure. My guess is that they had some trouble with it, whether compatibility or licence-wise, and had to pull it and they forgot to fix the typo. Or maybe they plan to give it to us in a future update? :D
More the merrier..
Though I tried Second Sight for free on another service, and i uninstalled it after about an hour. The controls are horrible.
I'd recommend PSi-Ops instead.

While the controls are not the best, the game itself is pretty good. In fact once you get used to the controls and aiming system it's really not that bad.
w00t, battle chess

There's actually a pretty bangin' review in that thread.
Also.. you can always rebind the keys differently.. like if you're using an xbox 360 explorer guitar.. you can bind the whammy bar to walk forward and back ward.
Battle Chess!
DO WANT!
Indeed, wonderful releases. Now I'll get plenty of time bombing pawns with my king.
(Next titles released, how about Planetscape: Torment? wink wink wink :3)

Using a guitar controller rather than a gamepad?! If anything that sounds like it'll control far worse than badly optimised mouse/keyboard controls.
