It's only a suggestion. I'm a big fan of the Clse combat series.
When you will be able to sell them? Ready to play multiplayer with new computers..

Thanks!
They're owned by Microsoft... I don't see that happening.
Close Combat 2 was a brilliant game at the time - it's a big shame it's no longer available anywhere. Even on eBay, you mostly just see jewel case budget versions.
I had a copy of close combat 2, sold it on ebay several months ago for five pounds.
Love the close combat series. I still have Close Combat 3 and play it quite a bit. You never know it might appear one day but I could see Microsoft maybe selling it on the new revamped GFWL marketplace they are pushing at the moment.
Strategy 3 Tactics and Matrix Games have released remakes of 2 through 5.

Yeah but using Close Combat lowers your Def and SpDef! Staraptor, return!

Oh wait...
Has anyone tried "Matrix Games" Close Combat remakes? I'm thinking of getting one during the sales, but i have no idea which to go for. Recommendations?

I had this same problem in the past and browsed through the matrix forums for the answer. I think 5 should be the best start since it is the most refined experience.
If you like the series you may want to give the demo of firefight a whirl.

Of the "originals" I liked "A bridge too far" most ( the 2nd, I believed).

But the 4th and the 5th weren't bad either. (Bulge and D-Day). The Russian one was so-so and the first one is the "worst" (still not bad, but just not as good as the others.

Remember, those were my experience with the originals, I haven't played the remakes...

Last Stand Arnhem is the remake of 2, and is probably the best of the bunch.

but if you're looking at sheer number of mods, the remake of 5 (The Longest Day). The remakes also include the original games, and the number of mods for 5 is through the roof. Longest Day also has quite a few.
I went ahead and bought "The Longest Day" only played (lost) one scenario, but apart from being alot slower then i remember, it's alot of fun.

Very, VERY slow game! :P
