As long as it isn't done by the chap who made the new Friday the 13th films.

ryo37k: Any one remember this game? I have the original on CD, but could not get it to run on current OS . Great FPS horror game. Hopefully, GOG can acquire the rights to make the digital conversion
Can confirm that it runs under Win 7. Actually, it uses Unreal engine, they usually don't have that much compatibility problems.

Yeah, great game, wish it'd come to GoG, but, as Fuzzyfireball already said, you should not hold your breath.

Aren't EA the holders of that property? I also thought I heard a rumor a year ago or so that said there was talk of an Undying 2...or was that Jericho 2?

I own this and would happily buy again if it drops... to run under win7 use XP Sp2 compat mode and make sure you do not select the 32bit option that will crash it. looks a little meh but it'll make it work for you!

It seems like EA don't want to cooperate with GoG for some reason.

It was Jericho 2, i'm afraid. :(
I owned this game a long time ago and LOVED it! I think it had some of the best horror sequences of any game I've played. I pulled out my disks to play it and found they were not working. I was really bummed. I would love if GOG got this game.

Al1: Which OS are you running it on? I may be mistaken, but I think I got the disk to run on Windows 7. Definitely on XP. If you are running 7, let me know and I'll give it an install and see if I can get it running. On second thought, I might just do that anyway, Undying was really good.
Thanx for the advices below. I bought this game and it ran fine under Win 9X and XP. But after when I installed the game on a new computer with built in Vista, i kept getting the missing .dll file on startup exe file, then it kicks me out to the main Windows screen. Tried to do a search on the forum and alot of peeps had problems running this games on Vista. Planning to built a new comp with Win 7 and partition a portion of the drive with XP and do the dual boot advice from Fortysixter. Should work.

The missing dll can be rectified without going to XP. Just look up the dll in question on the net and download it and put it in either your Window's system32 folder or the game's folder when the game exe is also.
Try Undying with NGlide. IIRC core.dll error is probably due to the renderer.

Last time I tried Undying was on 2008 32bit and it worked fine but that was with an Intel video card.

Multiple threads on the game but I'll bump this one.

I've recently been intrigued in Clive Barker's Undying. I remember playing a demo and very much liking the style of the game. It reminded me of Realms of the Haunting, a fantastic, underrated game that's already on GOG.

Now that EA is releasing titles, let's try to get Undying on GOG! Here's the wishlist entry for you to add a +1.

I have the PPC OS X port of this game, and while it looks nice, I found the combat somewhat unbalanced and the enemy AI to use really cheap tactics. Then again, maybe I was playing it wrong since I'd approached it as if it were a run and gun shooter instead of a survival horror game.

I have just found my disk, and I've just reinstalled it on my old Power Mac G4, so maybe I'll give it another shot.
