Some people are just rotten, and to make it worse, are proud of the fact. Which also shows how mentally deficient they can be. If no one is willing to help you when you're in trouble because you've cheated and swindled everyone you know, that's something to be proud of?!

And everyone needs a little help from time to time. That's why we live in a society as opposed to everyone being loners with "Keep Off!" and "Explosive Mine Field!" signs.
The keywords are "Mutual Benefit". Everyone helps each other and everything gets done faster.

And here's one of the good points about this forum. People look out for one another. Which is why we're all so active. Everyone likes being around happy. :P

Getcomposted: You post something along the lines of "First one to reply gets [name of game]". No code drops.
If they don't reply, well, they can't get the game.
That way, you can see a little bit about who's asking for the game.
As this series of posts on Open this Thread shows you can at least separate some of the wheat from the chaff.
And this was just after deepdig as maestro_27 and ceterum/ pokeharvest had been exposed as scammers, so we were deeply suspicious of a brand new "alt?" whose first post was to ask for a game, and who knew enough to go straight to "Open this Thread". I mean the thread title doesn't exactly scream "We give away games here", does it?

I'm just lazy. :P People should be joining for the community, and the rep just helps us see who's active. I sometimes think that any GA should have a rep of at least 15 so that even scammers should have shown they had to work for the game. :)
