I've already asked them about previous VNs they've released - so far they've all been turned down by GOG.com due to lack of gameplay or not being complete yet (many of the games they're working on are part of a trilogy of games that haven't been released yet).

In this case, getting VNs on here has more to do with JPN devs being okay with selling their games worldwide without DRM as well as GOG.com accepting more high quality VNs.

There's no justice in the world... the most interesting Kickstarter game of the year, Charles Dexter Ward, is left unfunded while interactive novel translation gets it's mark, and seemingly much, much more, in 2 days.

Amazing. To think I finished watching Clannad and Clannad After Story about a month ago. This is great news! Too bad it's going to Steam so I can't support that. =(
If I were a rich man I'd pledge for a physical edition.

As much as I'd like to play it, I'm not willing to put that kind of money on kickstarter. Or a DRM'd game, either. So I'll pass for now, hope the kickstarter succeeds, and then uselessly hope it becomes DRM free too.

From what we've seen with releases like Hatoful Boyfriend/Long Live the Queen - I think it has more to do with backlash from the community than anything else - I'd like to think that a visual novel like CLANNAD would garner a better response though :)

i wonder how much of a stretch goal it would take for them to add english dubbing :P
probably no amount.. but it looks like they'll have 2 months of adding on to their total.. so i imagine theyv got some stretch goal planning to do..
