The PC-DOS versions AND the Amiga versions? Holy crap! Maybe that's something that GOG can work on with Team17!
Nice! I had forgotten all about this title... I played it pretty extensively way back when

I believe the nature of the news is pants-crappingly exciting enough to forgive a little enthusiasm. =)

No criticism, and same, I never really played much back then.

Honestly, I'm more excited about the prospect of Cinemaware in general. They're the Space Rangers guys right?

are they?

*runs to find badly scratched disc of old
This is great news. If I remember correctly, for a while Cinemaware would make random old games free on their site, but there was some kind of cumbersome registratino process so I never really check it out.

They had released most of their back catalogue for a long while. I learned wget because of them :)
So is it this week or next one because announcement is from September, 5th.

One of a kind agreement. Really hope it is exclusive :)
This is great news - Defender of the Crown :)

But why, oh, why has GOG not said anything about it especially as the announcement was made by Cinemaware on the 5th September? You'd think a feather of this magnitude in their cap would be worth mentioning somewhere on the GOG site.
I recall playing Defender of the Crown quite a bit on C64. Maybe GOG can get the later remake(s) too.
