You can actually buy engraved USB sticks just for such occasions, letting you physically give digital stuff - it's really the ideal solution and just pick a USB stick that looks a bit festive or find a store online that will engrave it for you.
On top of that, I'd stick family pics on there as extra gift - or anything else digital you might be able to give as gift.
