Does anyone else get charged £1 for buying games from gog? Im with Lloyds (uk) and use a debit card. I guess the only way to avoid this is to pay by paypal?

Yeah, Paypal is a *cough* good means of avoiding excessive fees. Sorry, I just don't like using Paypal and good in the same sentence. But they're the best option in a shitty industry.

GOG is a Polish company, registered in Cyprus, with transaction servers in the UK, and actual web/forum hosting servers in Canada.

Could be the fact that the company is registered in Cyprus.
