PC Gamer posted an interview, pre-PR stunt, in which the GOG heads talk about GOG and DRM, amongst other things. I would borrow the headline, but it's a bit sweary. Link is here: http://www.pcgamer.com/2010/09/24/good-old-games-on-online-activation-its-just-bollocks

"I’m really annoyed when I see examples of companies who release single player games and they ask you to be online."

I want that on a T-shirt!
Now, he may look like a tweaker, but looks can deceive.. [and kill] ;P
I liked the bit where they said that the users were the best policemen, really shows that they do read the comments.

*Gets paranoid that he's being watched*
'I mean, how hard is it right now to buy the older Atari/Hasbro RPGs in the UK? It’s not that easy to get it retail.'
Just go to Amazon and buy Baldurs Gate 1+2 plus expansions for £12, Icewind Dale 1+2 £10. It's quite easy actually.
But I still want them on GOG!

Don't forget to add postage to that. For people outside the UK there usually a fee involved. The only site I've seen that has no fees for deliveries here in Norway is play.com. ;)

If the quote had not spercificly mentioned the UK I wouldn't have picked up on it as I don't believe the DVD reissues were released worldwide.

I would probably put the news relating to the PR stunt in that thread, but I think this deserved its own thread.

* Slowly takes Balders Gate off GOG's virtual-shelf and slides it into an inside pocket of a bomber-jacket *

"Warning: this interview contains Poles explaining themselves using slightly awkward metaphors."

PMSL. Best. Line. EVAH!
