(been searching for an hour and can't get a clear answer on this)
I currently have 2x Crossfire HD6950's and up to know have overclocked these using CCC and have them at max core clock of 840mhz and shaders maxed out and powertune slider set to +20%. I have recently found out about and downloaded Trixx and this lets me go much higher and alter voltage if necessary. Iv read about steady clocks of 920mhz and 1420mhz without touching voltage but not sure if these were still using powerslider on CCC to 20%? Im assuming they are so that throttling and instability is not an issue but if i enable CCC as well as Trixx, what clocks settings do i use on CCC? I remember reading once that the clocks entered on CCC will override any other outside programs clocks. Is this the case? if so, do i disable my CCC and just use Trixx hoping instability doesn't become an issue? I have gone higher using Afterburner but just get BSOD no matter what and gave up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and please don't reply telling me to flash the BIOS etc or discuss other cards as this is were all the other threads have gone down and don't answer the question.
