Um, read the article again, what he did was not endorsed by his country and is probably going to face charges. Also, from the article:
"Most mushers love their dogs. That sounds more like an accountant to me. Most mushers would starve themselves before they'd ever neglect their dogs," he said.

Well thats a comprehensively unpleasant thing, only good thing was the very well done alliteration in the thread title (though I'd have added "cruel" at the start to get 5 Cs)

Seriously? A ban on a tourism industry that pretty much usually treats it's dogs better than it's employees? I don't think dog sled tourism is inhumane and IMO these guys are just using this to get into the spotlight and profit off these dogs deaths which is totally INHUMANE imo.
Are the VHS the canadian version of PETA?

I'm pretty sure they're only referring to that particular business. At least that's how the sentence reads.
