This error comes when I try to run VB...is this file related to VB?...any idea wat this file is for?...from where can I get this "DAO350.dll"

When you say running VB, do you mean an application written in VB or the VB software suite? If someone used a library and not included it in the application itself, it's up to the user to install it (shoddy way of programming if you ask me).

That's a Data Access Object file, old as the 2003 ver was 3.6 I believe. If the reference is not hard coded, change the reference to the DAO library you have installed. If it is hard coded, you will need to download the file and re-register that version. MS Office resisters a new version with Office 2007 and 2010 which kills the reference for older versions.
