I cannot see how to do it and I had a typo in title I would like to fix

If it really bothers you, you can PM a moderator (writes in blue text) and ask him to correct the typo. Personally however, I'd probably just "endure" the typo rather than increasing someone else's workload.

This is another Forum feature that's long overdue, as Psyringe already explained: you can PM a moderator to change it but I would just reccomend to ignore it rather than giving yourself and another person more hassle

I think the reason is to insure that any links made to the thread / thread posts are not broken due to the thread title being edited later on. I could be wrong so . . .

Then again, GOG has changed the URL format a few times themselves.
