It looks like they're having a new 50% sale every hour....
Very small e-tailer with it's own Steam-like client. They are small enough that they only deal in dollars at the moment regardless of where you live like GOG.

Typo naturally ;) I pointed a few out to them on twitter. I did say they were small.
Who do you think you are, going to a website other than gog?
Anyways, they seem to have a good amount of games from $5.99 to $9.99 that gog doesn't, but I guess they probably have some sort of DRM.

Isn't their gimmick "download and play directly" without a need to install?
Also, kind of nice to see that they are also offering some freeware/opensource games like Freeciv.
i'm wondering if their older games are restored to work on XP and 7 like GOG, or if they're just the original files like steam sells.
I thought that they were going to have MDK2 HD out soon. Last June they were "putting on the final touches" or something.

Why is that even a gimmick? Steam has done that already (barring the usual DirectX forced-installs), and I don't think having to install your downloaded exe is that inconvenient for your average gamer.
Why is freespace 2 + expansion FREE???

It's only the enhancement pack, which is made from the open source FS2 engine.

I think "restored" is pushing it. I mean let's face it, how many GOG releases had anything done to them you couldn't do yourself?

Not attacking GOG by any means, they provide an awesome service and I love them, that is why I am here, but "restored"? Ehhh... that's pushing it. For me, anyway.
