YellowBlackbird: Are games from GOG.com tied to your account like steam? So, could I download a game onto my friends computer to play it now and then uninstall it and download it onto my own computer later?
As others have said there's no DRM on GOG games, but a few still have a CD key check on the official multiplayer servers (for ladders and stuff), GOG will provide these on request. I think the CD key stuff only really ties to online accounts that track your stats for most of these games (like UT2004 and the like). They are also very uncommon on GOG, but there's a few.
