You can not change yourself, but I think that some people changed it by writing to support.

It has been done but you have to e-mail the gog staff users@gog.com.

Yeah you have to ask staff to do it for you. I know at least 3 persons who had their name changed.
ne_zavarj used to be lackoo, Sirprimalform was eyeball and Skunk used to be Lord Kuruku.
You can ask one of them if you want to be sure but I think PMing or e-maling staff.
