anjohl: Buy the HB as a gift, and only redeem it when you are ready to play BL That way, you can trade it off if the game comes here. I worry about the licensed soundtrack...
As far as I know they cannot distribute the licensed soundtrack unbundled from the game.
On the other hand the encryption key for it is DFm3t4lFTW and then you get 108 highish quality mp3 tracks.

Leroux: It was enough information for me to buy it, but not enough to decide whether the MP aspect is important or not. ;) So far the only DF game I've played was Psychonauts. Sounds like I'd be perfectly fine with just playing the SP version then. Thanks!
Did you get a new PC at last? If so, congrats!

I hate to disappoint but I still haven't dropped the habit of buying games I can't run yet. ;) (But it's Double Fine after all!)
I believe that a DRM-free version would be a great fit for GOG, even if it's single player only. A game in the style of good old games, with lots of good old music. ;)

Only problem is, with the game now having appeared in a Humble Bundle, many people will buy it there, and not buy it if GOG ever releases it here, so they are already a bit late now.

It wouldn't be the first time a game appears on GOG after having already been in a humble bundle. I, for one, would buy it here, as I already have the other games here.

besides its not like it was a $0.01 key, it was bta which has been set more or less at $8 since shortly after the bundle started. It'd be cheaper in steam sales, so there should be something left for gog on that one.
Is Brutal Legend really any good? I recall it getting fairly middling reviews.

Its nice maybe a little short in singleplayer...if you have a pad. Playing it with mouse and keyboard is something
i wouldn't do. And don't get your hopes high, its a console game with little improvement in graphics.
AND there is the sound.......you must play it.
It's a good game with some rough edges.
