Is the DC version of Broken Sword worth it? I do own the original, and while I liked it, I don't think it's spectaculary good.

I read that there's some new facial animation stuff and new content, but is it such a different gameplay experience?
No, it's mostly the same. They added some new segments, improved graphics, and removed pixel hunting (I really liked that).

DC? Dreamcast? Don't you mean the nintendo DS?
Just got it recently but didn't play it much. The upscaling is slightly blurry, and they added "blue bubbles" to mark all the hotspots.... This really detracts from the immersion. On the PC at least, this should have been a feature tied to a hotkey (like how ALT shows items on the ground in action-RPGs, etc.)

But I don't have the original, so this is what I will be playing once I'm done with BaSS.
Is this the same game that was on the GBA? I seem to remember something about Paris and clowns.. Is that right?

Ah yes I agree that would be better.

Sounds about right... I had no idea they did a GBA version of it though. Can you even see everything on that tiny screen?

No, I do mean DC as in directors cut, as that's the name of the enhanched PC editon of the game.

Yes, you can/could. They did a surprisingly good job on the port.
I think that animation were little bit choppy, and no support for full hd resolutions

Okay, thanks from the input. I think I'll hold off from buying it for the moment. Maybe if they bundle the games at somepoint, as I haven't playe any of the series after 3, I might do that tough.
I was going to say, this game is now $5 on Steam. That was quick!

Wow, sure was. I've been wanting to get this game for weeks, but have waited for no particular reason. Now I'm glad I waited!

Still gonna wait, though. Got The Pandora Directive today, and I'm not downpriotizing GOG or Tex - not even for Broken Sword!
