tburger: As for boot managers I can highy reccomend TeraByte BING. They will be releasing new version in a few days. It's not free but soft is worth it. Nominal price is 35$ but on bitsdujour you can buy it with constant 25% discount and if you'll be patient with 40% discount. For this you will receive: boot manager, partition manager and partition image tool. What rocks most (me of course): with boot manager you can decide which partition/logic disc will be visible depending on OS started. So you can just say: starting my XP I want to see only A, B partitions and starting Win7 A, D. Oh...I don't know how will user interface look in a new version - now it's a bit ..."old-fashined" :-). But let this not deceive you - soft is GREAT.
The software actually does look quite good, shame it's not freeware - I don't have money :D
