That's often due to the rules that regulate contests. Not sure what the problem would be in this case.

Happened before with their auction promo. Lots of Canadians were upset at being excluded from a comp organised by a Canadian company. TBH there isn't much they can do about it as it's all bogged down with legal reasons. In the case of the BioWare auction it was actually only 48 states of the US at that excluding New York and Florida.

And this is why I love GOG. Promos are available to everyone worldwide, not just residents of the US.

I hate how all of Canada's game developers are owned by American publishers so that we don't get most of the deals even though they're based in our country.

Why US only sigh oh well so thats most of the world ecluded nice. Oh well think when Bioware had their birthday celebrations i think was the same with their lottery or whatever they had cant quite remember only us could apply due to some stupid law.

Well it's Wikia that is holding the contest. It says Bioware and GOG.com "teamed up", but it's probably more likely that they are just donating the prizes (sort of like all of the companies that donated stuff in lackoo's contest).

Ah, so Wikia are the ones organising it? Well yeah, fair enough then. Normality restored.
