Fuck...YES!

Kabuto: I hope by improving the soundtrack they mean higher quality sound files only.
No kidding. The music was not only original, a lot of it actually had lyrics, and that's really rare in a game.

Propoganda! Doon doon doon Propoganda!

...I can't get that catchy thing out of my head.
If they will make good job, I see no problem, it will be interesting to play one of most interesting games of my childhood in HD :)

Well not NEW, just sharper (or more rounded, fuck it, you know what I mean!)

Well I don't see the difference, but I actually liked the original's graphics, and they are still fine today in my book. So I don't really care, but increasing the resolution of an undetailed texture won't really help much...

Miaghstir: Ithe game’s score is also being improved
That is just downright impossible. BGE soundtrack is already perfect :-)

As for the old PC port... well, granted, it's a bit crappy. But with a nicely crafted XPadder profile, I could enjoy it all the way through using my gamepad.

Well if you compare a screenshot to the old version the textures are a little sharper. If you played this on the PC though you probably already played it in high definition. I guess the HD update is more for the people that had it on the PS2 or missed it the first time around.

I see, yes, I played it on PC, maybe that's why I didn't see. Or because it was several years ago? :D Both, probably. Well nevermind, thanks for pointing that out.
I actually really like the idea of repackaging and reselling old games. It keeps them going, and hopefully if they're re-released on PC they'll be updated for compatibility on the newest OS's.

No real improvement then. If they had reworked the models and environments to noticeable higher detail, it would have been be interesting
While I found BGE charming, I don't think that game has enough replay value for me to bother with a rerelease, despite any improved graphics.
This is a chance for new customers to check out the game, hopefully. There are a number of games more people needed to play when they were released.

There's news of the same that's happening with Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and it's great. While a number of people will re-buy them because of nostalgia or they want to play the games again and lost their original copies, this will hopefully bring all these old classic games to a number of new players.
I'm definitely getting this for PS3. I have the PS2 version, but since my fat PS2 broke, and I got a slim one, I've had to deal with the annoying sound glitch (sounds looping/repeating constantly for no reason), so being able to get rid of that problem will be worth $10. And, of course, getting to play it in HD will be a plus.
For sure will get it on PS3. This is quite memorable game. Good to know I will play again in HD.

Aliasalpha: Story.

Sounds like they're at least trying to do a good job of it, shame they can't be bothered with a sequel but it'd probably be crap anyway...
is this the first video released? www.gametrailers.com/video/ubidays-walkthrough-beyond-good/705663
