Which videogame endings have left you stunted? Speechless? Changed? Post them here! Pwease post which games you are talking about so people can decide whether they want to read it or not. Post some screens as well; if you wish!

I'll share one of mine.

Metro 2033(-survival / horror FPS)

Today, I finished Metro 2033 (on the highest difficulty) and finally got the ''good'' ending. As a background, you; Artyom fought through the various battlegrounds of post apocalyptic Russia to come upon a nuclear missile station which he originally intended to use to wipe out a species called the ''Dark Ones''; who are the next stage of evolution in terms of mental and physical strength (but mainly mental). They live on the irradiated surface while the humans live in the metro tunnels they escaped to to escape nuclear fallout. At the beginning of the game, you see they can be destructive and could wipe out us humans. And Artyom's home station is the closest to their surface-based community. All the humans think the Dark Ones are out to exterminate us. And we are sent on a quest to launch the said nuclear strike on them.

Artyom is somehow touched by the Dark Ones; in the sense that they can communicate with him through telepathic visions. In these visions, they say to him that they only wish to understand the humans and they mean no harm.

So, we set up the missile targeting device and wait for the missiles to arm. But when the countdown reaches 20, the Dark Ones communicate to us telepathically and send us to an ethereal space where we meet one of them (ie, he/she chases and you run :P). Eventually, through his consciousness, Artyom is able to pull out a gun and shoot the Dark One which had materialized in front of us during our delusion. But in its death rows, the Dark One dying before us tries to destroy the targeting device that will guide the missiles into their nest. It says they want peace, not war, and that Artyom can stop it, that he can stop death (presumable theirs'). So Artyom walks over and disables the targeting deice; pushes it to the ground, where a Dark One stand and looks up; and says thank you; for maintaining the peace, and that they shall work together to bring humans back, and stuff.

The end.
I feel its a really great ending, especially since we've been fighting mutants and humans underground and over-ground on the surface and still the very thing we are doing all of this to destroy is the only species that wants peace.

So, aside from my mistakes, I hope I conveyed it in a manner you understand. I left out the quotes, what we hear in out missions etc, since they're just meant to be played hear first hand, lol. I'll post some pics as well. Anyway, posts yours!

BioShock Infinite

I don't think that I have to write much about it, because it was just mind blowing and left me speechless for hours. Even after 1 1/2 years it's still the most impressing ending I've ever seen.

Have to work up to it. Still @Bioshock 1 for some reason. But BS is BS, I guess. Did it somehow ties in with the other two?
Yeah it does. You can play BSI on it's own without any problems, but if you played BS1 before (BS2 isn't important) the story will be even more 'epic'.
Interesting...................looks up $8 BI on permanent discount.................
