Gundato: Nuts. Looks like the Master Server is temporarily down.

michaelleung: DICE/EA really need to get their shit together. The game is great but they seem to have no idea what constitutes a good multiplayer experience anymore.

If anything, we should be glad that the master server went down and that ME2 (and DA:O) both overloaded their servers.
This means that more people are buying and playing games than even the publishers estimated. That is good for us :p
That being said, I kind of wanted to play this, since by the time I tried RF:G the MP was dead as a doornail.
"Who goes to war in cowboy hats?" "Cowboys." "Cowboys haven't been in a war for hundreds of years!" "The Dallas Cowboys go to war every Sunday. Sometimes Mondays."

TheCheese33: One odd thing I've noticed is that after I quit BC2 on the PC, the game is still running. When you go back to it, it doesn't matter if one copies running, because it will open another one. This has caused my time logged in the game to skyrocket beyond 30 hours.

Same for me too, beta didn't have this kind of a problem. BTW I can't play SP, because MP is sooooo great and I don't want to start SP game lol.

You're missing out. SP is excellent.
I lost my bet with myself that a DICE-developed game could have a smooth launch on the PC.
Maybe next time, DICE...
I don't get why you all have such problems :S It's been smooth sailing here and none of my friends ran into any issues except for maybe one or twice that they couldn't log in on release day which is to be expected.

Well I've had no issues in game but it's just the Veterans program that's got problems and that isn't technically in game.
So umm, anybody want to exchange names? Form a clan..? :)

I suck so much ass at it it's not funny. My name is the very uninspiring michaelleung. I've got the game since launch and I'm LEVEL 2.

I was just starting to get good and get a consistent kill/death ratio over 1 when I got distracted by Assassin's Creed 2. Then Dragon Age Awakening. Then GTA Episodes. Next week is Alpha Protocol.
I understand why so many people play only multiplayer, because MAN is it hard to juggle.
I am level 27. Name is acare84. And yes I didn't finish the sp yet, because it is so boring for me but mp is really awesome.
