I have heard that the enhanced edition will have DLC, (which raises the question of if it will have DRM or not) I won't buy the enhanced edition if they decide to stick with this policy. To be honest, I am somewhat apprehensive of how in-tune the devs are with the old crpg crowd because of this-and also of their intentions to make sequels to games such as BG and Planescape Torment that ended conclusively without much wiggle room for sequels.

Definately a 'wait and see' situation, IMO.
I don't think they plan on making a typical sequel for PST, more likely set in the same type of world but with different characters. That makes more sense to me at least.

Is it true they plan to make BG2 EE next summer? I thought they were closer than that. :(

They've stated on Twitter that all of the original content - including the expansion packs - will be part of the base game and not sold as DLC; instead, DLC will apparently take the form of extra campaigns, characters, etc., not unlike Bioware's model of selling Premium NWN modules.

Of course, how good the DLC will be is, at this point up for speculation - so yes, I agree, it's definitely a wait and see situation.

I was so happy to see BG being done, until I saw this. Seems its kind of like a STEAM format, or am I reading this wrong?
If BG (1) is slated to release first, as an individual title, why has every screenshot and movie of the enhanced edition (I've seen) used the (personal opinion) awful BG 2 interface. I love the stone interface from BG (1). It won't feel right without it.
