Adokat: I don't think that enjoyment (or not) of a title is a simplistic as you're making it out to be. Believe it or not, there are plenty of people who may have liked all of Telltale's work with the Sam and Max games or other works who end up disliking, say, their Tales of Monkey Island game.
Because of gameplay? I doubt it, it's the same game. Because of characters, pacing or setting? Sure... that's all in videos though. And no, I am not saying every adventure game is the same. Despite identical mechanics there is varied gameplay like puzzle design and how open the world is. What I am saying is that all Telltale games are identical in those respects.

I'm not some Telltale fanboy by the way, I actually thought most of their early releases were bland and not at all up to the standards of the old Lucasarts and Sierra days. They've gotten better with every release though, and Tales of Monkey Island is probably the first game from them I really, really enjoyed.

ToMI is my favorite Telltale game so far, too. I guess I'm having difficulty explaining why my experience of actually playing something feels different from watching a video, even if it's only regarding the characters/story.
Is there Huey and the News in it?

Back in Time is in it... not sure about Power of Love.

Good to hear that at least one song is in there. They could be holding Power of Love for a later episode.
Fun game, but beginning confused me with regards to setting and continuity from the movies. They also fell short on one scene involving Tannen. Don't know if I should elaborate since I don't want to spoil it for others.

Edit:
Figured out the beginning after a second playthrough. Makes sense now, hehe.

So to whoever beat this game, is it true that Thomas F. Wilson didn't have ANYTHING to do with this game?

I was hoping he'd get a cameo or something. :(

gyokzoli: Guys,

how could you donwload the free episode? The email from Telltale stated that, the free episode will be available only in february.
You've rather answered your own question there. The information you seek is in your own post.

Aliasalpha: Also as an aside, people who pirate games because they're unwilling to wait a few months to get something FREE are cunts

Vault_Boy: Right you are, but it's still a strange decision as now many people will say: "There is no financial harm done if I download it, too. I am as much a legitimate user as those folks who bought the game, only I get to play it when everybody else, inlcuding the cheap pirates, are having fun with ep2."

It's like those people who pirate a game that's been leaked before release and justify it with having paid money for it - disregarding the fact that that they did not gain any right to play it before release.
I think the reasoning is something along these lines: If people got the free episode now, they'd play it and then forget about it because the next one isn't out for 2 months. If they get an email inviting them to download their free episode once the second one is out, they're more likely to go "Wow, I need to play the rest of this!" and buy the season.

Yep, no Biff/Maniac. If it's true that he doesn't sign BttF memorabilia or take part in events, then he's either distancing himself from typecasting or he's disgruntled for some reason.
Finished it.

I want to say that you should buy it.

Well, I followed the thread in the Telltale forum and according to Tom Wilson, he wasn't even asked to do it. According to Telltale, they contacted his agent and were turned down. Neither of them have any reason to lie, so it could be a communication error (bad agent).
