KotakAU (the good kotaku) have posted a bit of a post-game analysis, it seems mostly positive even with the lack of decision. There's talk about reforming the entire classification code which is woefully overdue (hopefully games & video will be treated as a single category).

If it is only advice of mature content I agree, but if this is the beggining of censorship like in Germany...

Beginning? On the contrary, if the 18+ rating goes through, a lot of games that were denied classification in Australia earlier (and hence illegal to sell) will be able to get an 18+ classification. So it's actually a loosening of censorship rather than a tightening of it. Provided it gets approved, of course. Knowing the track record of Australian politicians, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Nice to hear that, I didn´t know so much about the video game regulation in Australia (strangely, I don´t feel so much ashamed about that). :-) Congratulations to all aussies.
