Hi gals and guys,

I was thinking to buy a PS3 to play Heavy Rain looked to the developer Quantic Dream then i saw i already have their other praised game Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy. Then i saw another one: Omikron: The Nomad Soul!

This seems like a fantastic game. Since the deal has been made with Square Enix i think we should have the Omikron immedietaly! I want to start from scratch playing in order with: Omikron, Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain.

More love for Omikron wishlist!:

Finished the game on Dreamcast a year ago...

It's more a mishmash of Sci-fi and Fantasy game, very enjoyable game...
The only problem I could find with it, is that they shipped the game before it's 100% completion, and as a result, the end part seems like it has been done quickly, and the game had far more potential then it offered.

A complaint I have is that the FPS section is broken... and the fighting parts of the game feel like they could have been designed better...

A nice feature of the game, is that past the first-half, you can enter people souls, abandoning your first body and controlling random people with their own personality and skills... (Even though they're practically similar)

Overall a very good game to have on GOG. I also need to mention that the Dreamcast version is much worse than the pc version regarding graphics....
So yeah, Do get the pc version if you have a choice.
Don't we have like, fifteen threads about this game already? It is also easily available on the net, although obviously not treated with the GOG love.

It is an awesome, yet slightly flawed, game. I can highly recommend the soundtrack. "Something in the Air" is one of my all time favourite songs.

Yeah think this like an update to those threads.
The torrent that lurks around for it (The one with the trainers and Omikron font, old trailers etc etc) has all the cracks and such you need to get it running on Vista 32bit (have not tried windows 7 or and 64 bit version)

I got the ISO to run on Windows XP but had to trick out the opening publisher and developer avi's with dummies.

Personally, if you have a decent speed computer that won't give you sound distortion with the Dreamcast Emulator, the DC Rom would be less hassle to run and probably easier to find via direct download.

PST and Anachronox are already here, did ya notice?
Since they struck a deal with Square Enix it is a puzzling why they don't release Omikron already.

I think GOG waits for the Fall to release great titles. Until then... silence...

Pretty much a list of the four most awesome games ever released. Once the last one is released here, I expect you to be screaming BINGO on the top of your lungs.

I have it on PC and DC, its a pretty good game, but as someone said the FPS can be annoying.

I would buy it on gog.com just to support it.
